The staff at Bando's trains several times a year at prestigious catering schools and the Culinary Institute of America. They bring new, fresh and exciting menus and ideas to the Golden Triangle. Our culinary team can handle most requests. We are very experienced in vegan cooking. We are very familiar with many ethnic cuisines.

Debbie Bando-Duit, CEC. AAC - Owner
Debbie is a Certified Executive Chef and member of the American Culinary Federation, Catersource, and the Texas Chef's Association.  In 2006, 2004,1999 &1995 Debbie was chosen as Chef of the Year.  She is also member of the American Academy of Chefs, the Honor Society of the American Culinary Federation. Debbie has A.B.A. degree from LSU and a C.E.C. certification from the ACF. She is also Vice-President of the Chaine des Rotisseurs chapter in Beaumont and a member of the Junior League of Beaumont. Debbie is also a member of the American Culinary Federation National Disasater Team that serviced both hurricane's Katrina and Rita, Gustav and Ike for which she was presented the Presidential Medal from the American Culinary Federation.

Wesley has been a member of the Bando's team for over 15 years and has been the Executive Chef of the Tower Club, the Beaumont Country Club and Café Arts at the Art Museum of Southeast Texas.

Don't let her age fool you. At 80 years young- she can run circles around everyone. She doesn't open anymore- because she spends time with her granddog Penne', but she is at work at 9 a.m. until closing.

Working since she was 6 years old at Bando's - Crystal worked all during her college days and this resent Lamar Graduate is now full time in our Gift Shop.
